I haven't tried it.  Is there any a priori reason to not do so?  Has anyone actually used Lingo from C++?

I have the C++ process embed a JVM which in turns loads the Spring Lingo application context file that creates the client proxy bean as usual. Calls from the C++ process are delegated to the Lingo client proxy and callbacks and return values passed back to C++ via the JNI bridge. Its working out really well for us.
