1)  Welcome by WG Chairs:  Helen Nissenbaum and Henning Schulzrinne

2)  Talks by relevant Spiral 1 projects:

            a)  “A Prototype of a Million-Node GENI”.  PIs are Thomas Anderson and Arvind Krishnamurthy at the University of Washington – Seattle.  This prototype addresses deploying a large number of end-user GENI nodes, and working through the resulting technical, motivational, security and scalability issues.

           b)  “Bringing Experimenters and External Connectivity to GENI”.  PI is Nick Feamster at Georgia Tech.  This project will provide for connectivity to and from the Internet, via a BGP mux platform that provides BGP interconnects and tunnels.

c)  “Prototyping Techniques to Implement Opt-In”.  PI is Matt Mathis at Pittsburg Supercomputing Center.  Such a technique would allow current Internet traffic flows to be directed into a GENI experiment.

 

3)  Opt-in Systems Engineering report by GPO Systems Engineer:  Harry Mussman
