- Symposium & Workshops
The IGN e.V. is organizing its
annual symposium. The "9. Sächsisches GIS-Forum" to
be held in Dresden on 14 and 15 May 2009, in the European Community's framework
of "The European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009"
and "The European SME Week" (announced by European Commission
as from 6th to 14th May 2009).
The focus of GI2009 is to
promote "Best practices" in
-
Interoperability for Awareness,
Business and Openness,
-
Sustainability of creative
lifelong learning and innovative regional development, as well
-
Usability of Geo-Envi-Spatio
Applications in the Agri, Envi & Forestry Sectors"
and to exchange Knowledge & ideas
for creative and innovative X-border-GDI in Europe of Regions.
The intention of GI2009 is
to integrate
-
participants from AT, BG, CZ, DE, HU,
..., MT, PL, RO, ..., SK, UK.
IGN e.V. is organizing the GI2009
in close X-border-Cooperation with Czech Organizations CAGI and CCSS to
be complementary with the European ISAF-Conference & INSPIRE4CEEC-Workshop,
Praha: 12./13.05.2009 , as well as disseminate the GeoINSPIRE'd final results
of the EU-GeoPortal-NATURNET, the ENVI-Atlas Region LIBEREC, and
further innovations in special workshops on X-MAP-GEN, and X-GDI-OSM...
etc.
The OPEN Call-For-Presentation
is to be announced until February 25th, 2009.
