GNUPIC, Puppy Linux, and other distrosHas anyone here ever gotten GNUPIC to work with Puppy Linux? I tried to do it once, but I kept getting flooded with error messages and wasn't able to get it to work. I recall adding other things (like gcc) to get it to work, but I still couldn't make it through the dependency hell. I think there must be a number of programs that need to be installed on Puppy Linux to get it to work.
For those of you who don't use Puppy Linux, what other Linux distros and versions have worked for you for using GNUPIC? -- Jason Hsu <jhsu802701@...> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: gnupic-unsubscribe@... Re: GNUPIC, Puppy Linux, and other distrosI have not tried GNUPIC (yet) but here are the distributions of Linux I
can think of off the top of my head: ubuntu, RedaHat Fedora, SUSE, GNULinux, ... most if not all may be down loaded as a file.iso file that can be burned onto a CD or DVD depending on the size of the distribution. I use RedHat Fedora 11myself. I may have heard of puppy Linux, as I recal it may be a small distribution compared to others and better suited for a single board computer.
