Hello,

I compiled a new beta version of GPGPreferences, 1.3b2. This version
adds compatibility to macgpg2's gpg-agent distribution (even with
gpg1; the important is the agent).
It's only for 10.5 Leopard.

Only localized in English and French. I'm still waiting for someone to
complete translations (Spanish, German, Swedish, Danish, Italian).

Hi Stéphane,

seems to be working fine.
Displays the correct gpg2 in use.
Displays Agent settings. What's "Flush Memory" for?

I'd try to do the Spanish localization, but I don't have access to the
localizable components. If I'm not wrong, I should download the SVN
archive? Isn't there a more direct way, can you send me the separate
components?

Thanks,
Charly

I have set the bezel 'Agent' to show, e.g.:
Cache Timeout   Default 23 00 00       Maximum 23 00 00

I believe this should correspond to 23 hours i.e. 23 X 3600 = 82800
[seconds]

~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf shows:
default-cache-ttl 104400

max-cache-ttl 104400

104400 seconds = 29 hours

How do I determine which indication is the correct one?

Thanks,
Charly

Charly,

There's a limitation in GPGPreferences 1.3b2: it cannot display
timeouts greater than 24h, due to design choice/failure: for such
cases I should replace the time entry widget with a simple textfield.
To reply to your question, the value in the gpg-agent.conf file is
always the correct one.

Stéphane
