The wildly-popular and wildly-lucrative ASUS EEE PC,
which is pre-installed with KDE and Xandros Linux, has
come under scrutiny for not providing source code to
GPL-licensed kernel modules
(
http://www.itbusinessedge.com/blogs/osb/?p=273).
Has anyone looked into whether any KDE applications
installed on the ASUS EEE PC also lack source code
(
http://eeepc.asus.com/en/download.htm)? Any
EEE-specific or Xandros-specific applications that
link to (#include <...>) any GPL-licensed KDE
module/header file must comply to the GPL and have
source code available.
