GUB question about removing packages

Hello,

What is the best way to remove a package in GUB, like
darwin-ppc::lilypond-installer?

Are you supposed to use bin/gpkg ?

I have just been removing the package files manually, but there is
probably a better (but undocumented) way to do this.
