I can assure Richard that Galeon has user base larger than 10.

Through a process of elimination Galeon has become my preferred default
browser due to its usability, stability .. and dare I admit .. fun to use.

It has never crashed or lost my passwords. Is there a fault in the way it
was compiled, or a misconfigured variable in his distro ?

I am in New Zealand / Aotearoa - the southern outer limits of homo
sapiens.

Beyond here there be monsters, or icebergs .. or something.

Cheers,

my wife is using it too, but not as a primary browser. She mainly
prefers opera, then ff then galeon. Conversely I primarily use galeon
(about 10 windows about 20 tabs each), then opera (5 windows) then ff
(1 window).

yeah!

that is a mystery to me. .pdf's stopped crashing just as mysteriously
as they started to. I blame flash crashes on adobe plugin, but
(seldom) javascript crashes are rather galeon's fault...

I believe though, that a more careful code in galeon which calls
external plugins would avoid crashes due to broken plugins.

wow, does it seem that mostly polish people are using galeon, and
they are scattered all over the world? :) I'm in France now, but I'm
going back to PL this month. Then visiting US and maybe Australia :> funny.

That's a comical piece right there Adam!

I'm Running Fedora 10
When I upgraded from 7 to 9 I had to start over with Galeon as all my settings were lost, including my bookmarks - not sure which Version came with Fedora 9. Currently 2.0.7

The xulrunner 1.9 issue nuked all my passwords -- I assume that this
is because it was no longer looking for them in the same place.
Everything was restored when I downgraded (although then I lost the
small number of new passwords I had saved after upgrading).

I never lost my bookmarks -- I have a toolbar full of them, so I'd
definitely have noticed. ;)
