Hi Bharat,

The certificate used to sign the GR applet / webstart version / upload applet has expired this March.

I seem to remember you saying that you renewed it. What happened?

See:

(verified in my G2.3)

Thanks,
 - Andy

I have a new signing certificate, but as I understand it we have to sign
and redistribute the jar.  I can build and sign the new jar, no problem,
but we still have to distribute it to the world.  Any suggestions?

I see. I wasn't sure how this works, whether we could just extend the certificate and that's all that's needed.

So that's another reason for a maintenance release of G2.3, or at least of the remote module (stable repository).

If somebody wants to drive a 2.3 stability release, I'll assist.  CK,
you interested?

I wouldn't say that I'm interested, but if everything finds
it way into svn and gets packaged, I can take care of the
announcement etc.

I'll get cracking on testing the applets and committing the jars.
