Hello Gallery Community!

This year the Gallery Project is holding it's annual conference August  
27th to 30th in Santa Fe, NM. Over the past 4 years GCon has been a  
closed event but this year we'd like to open up to the Gallery  
community. I'd like to gauge interest from the community in attending.

The Gallery team will begin the first morning of the event with a  
discussion of outstanding project issues, including budget, community  
issues, and the project web site. We'll follow this up with 2 plus  
days of Gallery 3 hacking with the goal of addressing final issues and  
bugs before Gallery's final 3.0 release.

If you're interested and can afford to travel and stay in Santa Fe,  
this will be an excellent opportunity to contribute to the final push  
towards the 3.0 release of Gallery. This is also an excellent  
opportunity to get a bit of help from core project members on that  
Gallery 3 module or theme you're developing.

Please note that this is not a traditional conference. There will be  
no formal presentations, just project discussions followed by plenty  
of work on G3. Support will not be provided for Gallery 2. Attendees  
are expected to be well-versed in some aspect of Gallery 3, i.e  
Kohana, the module system, jQuery, the theme system, or documentation  
efforts.

Space will be limited, so if you're interested, please send a direct  
reply to me. In your reply please indicate your primary area of  
interest, either core contributions, module development,  
documentation, project web site updates, or theme development. Once  
I've gauged interest, I'll provide more details.
