Garmin 60CSx on Debian Linux no data?

Hi ALL,

I do not understand why gpsd receives no gps data from the device
ttyUSB0, although it seems to connect  correctly. Neither with Garmin
protocol nor with NMEA. It has been working, may be 6 month ago, on the
same notebook.
System is Debian Linux with kernel 2.6.31-5 and gpsd 2.39, module
garmin-gps is loaded

Any ideas how to fix it :-/
