Garv Deck for battledrome! Help needed!!!

hello everyone, after finishing third in a kick-off event and qualifying for the battledrome here, i have been thinking hard about my 6v6 constructed event deck.. After a few tries i have found something that i think has huge potential to not only control, but shut your opponent down. My stratagy is as follows: generate mugic with fluid morph, and swap them to either garv(!) or lobanne. Read my opponents setup and plan my supercharged alterant bonuses carefully as to avoid loosing any stat challenges. If my opponent is playing an elemental based stratagy, i utilize lobanne, prelude of protection, and most of all: elemental elegy(!).

Other tools at this decks disposal:
-viqtarr's ability. this hypatheticly works wonders against mepedian decks that stack massave invisability: strike.
-rhyme of the reckless does the same thing against evil lizard stacking damage up to 50-60.
-garv could easily turn key opposing battle gear face down (as could my two copies of gear grind.)
-part'soa, late game, posseses late game potential to lower opposing stats.
-two entropy modulators as well as, vial of liquid thought can be fliped in the back field and utilized

Now onto the deck list, any amount of advice or tips would be greatly appreciated; and i like to think i have a great deal of cards within my card pool. Thank you. :] and here... we.... GO!

Well there it is :] just my thoughts. and why you're reading this thread, i had some pressing ruling questions:

*First of all, does Viqtarr's ability happen at the start of every combat? or only the FIRST attack?? i have been playing it only once (per viqtarr) a game to be on the safe side, but this really concerns me.

*Next, i activated rhyme of the reckless on an attack that was delt to a creature, and my opponent responded with song of shelter. Rhyme of the reckless reads:

"When target attack controlled by an opponent resolves, deal X damage to target engaged creature where X is the damage that attack dealt." Would song of shelter be able to negate this? the question is, does rhyme of the reckless target just the attack, just the creature, or both?

*Finally, my opponent plays gear glissando targeting one of my battle gear. it reads, "Flip target battlegear face-up or face-down." Could i respond with Garv's ability, flipping the gear face-down first? does the opponent declare wheather they will flip it face-up or face-down, or is whatever action possible carried out.
