Hey everyone. I'm in a pinch. I have a 82 920. I need the left side gasket and my local dealer is telling me 2-3 weeks. Is there a place online to get them? Does anyone know the OEM part number? Thanks.

Roger,
Here are a couple of places to check out..... Z1 Enterprises http://www.z1enterprises.com/catalog.aspx?pid=YM000 or Speed and Sport, Inc. http://www.speedandsportinc.com/

Keep in mind that the side cover gaskets are the same from 81 through 87 at least for the 750, 920, 1000 and 1100 models. I have a set of gaskets for my 920 but I truck isn't here and they are in it. I will send the part number this evening.

use case sealer like "YAMABOND" or locktite brand "GASKET ELIMINATOR"  yamabond has been around for years .it works pretty good but thee two pieces must not have any gaps JB weld and a good flat file should fix any imperfections in the gasket surface . J prefer the locktite  but its free from work and easy to come by surface prep is the same (clean, flush, gapless fit) gaskets are sometimes unnecesesary and always overpriced. you could be riding tomorrow for about twenty bucks total.  good luck!
