Re: German language version?Yes. The most recent QuickQuote XPI file (version 0.8) for Thunderbird
should include a working German localization, which should be enabled by default (if you have the German version of Thunderbird). The one file includes all available translations. Enjoy, Daniel W. Re: German language version? That's really weird; I thought I had fixed all of the localizations for
this release. Check the following: - Are you using the de-DE version of Thunderbird, or some other country in German? - Are both the extension options window and the menu entries in English? I can't think of many possible explanations. - Daniel W. Steinbrook Florian Effenberger wrote: > Hi Daniel, > >> Yes. I use the de-DE version supplied from www.mozilla.com, so no language pack, but the native version. > - Are both the extension options window and the menu entries in English? Yes, they are. So is the description in the extensions window. > I can't think of many possible explanations. Any chance to "force" the language of QuickQuote, i.e. by adding a setting to the options windows? However - if I try to install it, TB keeps telling me, QuickQuote is not compatible with Thunderbird. Maybe you made a SeaMonkey version? Re: German language version?Heh heh...I added a line to install.rdf that says "Packaged especially
for Florian Effenberger" and forgot to close the RDF tag! Whoops. Here, try again. - Daniel Florian Effenberger wrote: > Hi, > >> I think you misunderstood; the point is, I made a mistake in the version >> BEFORE 0.8 and fixed it in 0.8, meaning that there shouldn't be any >> problem if 0.8 is the version with which you started. >> >> I can't think of a logical reason why your version isn't in German, so >> here's what I'll try: I've attached a copy of QuickQuote identical to >> version 0.8, except that it only contains German (no English, Spanish, >> Dutch, etc). It works now. So, now on to the debugging: Anything I can do for you so you can find where the problem lies? Re: German language version? If you've still got the .xpi file you downloaded to install the first
version of QuickQuote, send it to me and I'll take a look at it. Then again, I don't know if the problem lies in the extension or something with your configuration. Nevertheless, I'd examine it. - Daniel Florian Effenberger wrote: > Hi Daniel, > >> Heh heh...I added a line to install.rdf that says "Packaged especially >> for Florian Effenberger" and forgot to close the RDF tag! Nevertheless, I'd examine it. sorry, I don't have it anymore, but it was from quickquote.mozdev.org, version 0.8 for Thunderbird. Is there anything else I can send in? Debug logs or something like that? Thanks Florian _______________________________________________ QuickQuote mailing list QuickQuote@... http://mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/quickquote |

Re: German language version? Not really. For now, I'll take this as a freak case rather than a bug
(other German Thunderbird users haven't been complaining recently). If I hear anything else about this language-switching thing, I'll let you know. Thanks for offering to debug, though. - Daniel Florian Effenberger wrote: > Hi, > > >> If you've still got the .xpi file you downloaded to install the first >> version of QuickQuote, send it to me and I'll take a look at it.
