You might have seen in my blog that another NetBeans Platform book is
set to be translated from German to English:

the intention is for the translation of the above book to be the
NetBeans Platform 6.8 book. In other words, in addition to translating
the text, we will also upgrade the content to 6.8.
A publisher has already shown interest and publication date should be in
the first quarter of next year.
We have a lot of translators working on the translation (even more than
last time). But there is definitely space for more people -- either as
translators (meaning that your German needs to be very good) or
reviewers (meaning that your German knowledge is irrelevant). Since
there are a lot of translators already, my hope is that each translator
will not need to translate more than about 15 pages maximum. But a few
more translators are needed to make that happen.
As was done last time, anyone contributing to the book will be able to
contribute their greetings to the world to the introduction of the book
and thusly immortalize themselves for all eternity.
Interested parties, please let me know and you'll be added to the project.
