Gimp 2.4.6 openening recent files error

While trying to open recent file instead of opening the submenu with recent filenames
I get an error message "Exception Processing Message c00000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c "
and Gimp stops responding.

Everything other (new file creation, open file from a dialog other functions of Gimp) works OK. Version 2.4.6. was installed over 2.4.5 where this option worked without problems.

Is it possible to solve this problem? May be I should delete something left from 2.4.5? I have found a file . recently.used.xbel and deleted it but the problem remains.
