Globalize for database field

Hi.  I use the Globalize plug-in to translate my site into various
languages.  I have no problem with simple text (e.g. "monkey".t) but
would like to make the database field selected to be language
dependent too. For example, if German is selected, the field
"@house.title_de" is used whereas if it's French, it would be
"@house.title_fr".

Thanks for any advice (I couldn't find this in the documentation but
assume it's straightforward)

Matt
