Change in Bulgarian team

Hi every one,
I am Alexander Shopov - the coordinator of the Bulgarian Gnome
translation team.
I have a new e-mail address - ash@.... My former one -
ash@... works no more - the provider suddenly deleted e-mail
accounts of many of its clients, ans I was among them.
The mailing list of the team - dict@... is the same.
I will be gradually changing my email address in po-files this winter*.

been uploaded to the site for review. When committer or perhaps
reviewer takes this action, and the only thing it does is the make the
status of the file turn from Translated to Inactive. This will be good
when dealing with some translation with quite low quality. At present
time we need to take "inform of submission" and leave a message to
tell what happens, but with a "drop" action defined, everything will
be much more clear.

Hebrew Translations of GNOME

Hello,

My name is Liel and I translated (and I continue translating) Ubuntu, KDE, LXDE, Enlightment, Moovidia, LiVES and (of course) GNOME.

Since Yair Harshkovitz isn't active anymore and Mark is busy in another open-source project, the translation reviewing of GNOME to Hebrew is very slow.

I think adding more commiters is a good idea to speed up the process. What do you think?

Request team deletion nds_NFE and a little questions

Dear list-members,

I have two little requests:

1. Can anyone delete this obsolete team here?: http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/nds_NFE (and the entry for nds_NFE in this index: http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/)
I guess this was forgotten during the great deletion of old nds-teams in august. We dont need nds_NFE, because we already have a superduper working team, that is assigned to do all the Low German (nds) translations: http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/nds

2. Does anyone know, why the hell the module "damned lies" is called "damned lies" for sure? I'm thinking about that for months now!

Somehow--we don't know how--Adi deleted and create a new HEAD based on master in place of the old gnome-2-28 HEAD. This latest branch creation message is the GNOME Games maintainers helping him restore the stable branch back in to its original state which was 5a9fabb63a20fcdde4c166cda5160b2fadefc2ba ... I also had him restore the branch with the commit that he was trying to make which is 2bc6d46c7cbf7290fead48e54aabde31fb0387a7. At this point everything should be back to a sane state and all these messages can be ignored. Please let me know if you notice anything odd.

For other maintainers who find themselves in this situation, the commit hashes in the svn-commits-list are invaluable since we do not have access to the ref log stored on the server when a branch is deleted (and you may not be quite up-to-date enough to have the now unreachable latest commits in a branch). From this list, you can get the last sane commit hash, have the person who caused the problem delete the remote afflicted branch (git push origin :bad-branch), and then have them reset a working branch to the correct hash (git reset --hard GOODHASH) and then push the corrected working branch to the remote using the branch name (git push origin fixedlocal:newremotebranch).

As for how Adi did this in the first place, I don't know.

Hi,

Please not that this is an error and the gnome-2.28 branch should be
reverted.

I tried to push the Romanian translations for gnome-2.28 but it looks
like it messed it up.

I'm really sorry for this incident and I will try to fix it.

Heh, the intention is actually to remove the file, but Unix calls this
operation "unlink" :)

I've just removed the _() from the gnome-2-28 branch so that the string
freeze isn't broken. Sorry for taking so long to do this; I just came
back from vacation.

Hi Felix,

Sorry to be lagging on this issue.
For modules not in the core Desktop release, we generally only link the
master branch to the "Extra" release set, unless specifically instructed
by the maintainer to link a "stable" branch.
But that doesn't prevent us to add the branch to the module individual
stats, of course.

Could I request you to add some translator comment for:

/plugins/context/context/AlbumTab.py:113
"Loading top albums for %s"
What's the exact meaning of "top" in this context (more recent, best
known, most downloaded,...)? It would be also nice to specify that %s
will be replaced by the artist's name.

Same situation for:
/plugins/context/context/ContextView.py:185
"Top songs by %s"

/plugins/context/tmpl/album-tmpl.html
"Top albums by %s"

You may harmonize these strings so as there is one string less to
translate:
/plugins/lyrics/lyrics/__init__.py
"No lyrics found"
