The Human theme it's in www.gnome-look.org and you can download it and install it. Probably, in that way, it will works fine.

flyers for linux marketing

First of all I hope this message would not be off-topic, due it is
intended to the promotion of the whole Linux landscape and not only
about Gnome.

All around the world (and particulary in Italy, from where I wrote) a
lot of Linux Users Groups daily act to organize courses, conferences,
InstallParty and many other events to explain freesoftware to the people
and provide assistance on technical stuffs. The main problem is that
LUGs are generally composed by high technically skilled guys but bad
artists, so most of those events are promoted by very low-quality flyers
which often miss to catch attention of the target public, and many
efforts fail to collect a decent audience due lack of communication.
I have recently experienced this phenomenon in occasion of the "Linux
Day" (annual country-wide event in which each LUG in Italy provides his
own schedule on the same day, this year was on October, 24:
http://www.linuxday.it ), when many groups were unable to spread to the
public more than an ugly blank sheet with some text and a Tux as only
decoration.

Starting from this, the purpose is to involve as many people as possible
with artistic eye to produce a set of nice and good-looking templates
for flyers, customizable by LUGs, share them and made it easy to promote
any kind of Linux moment with a decent presentation. No constraints
about layout, colors, images or other graphic elements, the best would
be to obtain SVG source files with fields to fill with custom text (for
location, date, schedule...), perhaps dedicated to specific genre of
contents (some to promote InstallParties, some to promote conferences
and so on).

The project is still in evaluation phase, so any kind of comment,
suggestion, and reference to other source of collaborative artists are
welcome.

Human Theme

I'm Mike,16 years old, from Germany and I don't use Ubuntu as long.

It's the version 0.28.8, I think, that i like...

But how can i install this version on my computer?

The CSS Theme Engine for Gtk+, Version 0.3.1 is available for download.

About gtk-css-engine
====================

The CSS theme engine for Gtk+ an experimental theme engine reading
styling information from CSS rather than the traditional gtkrc format.

The engine has only seen very limited testing and is not suited for
production use at this point in time. We are however proud to announce
that this is the initial release that supports desktop-wide use.

New and noteworthy
==================

* Initial support for desktop-wide use.
* Require ccss >= 0.5.0 [3].
* Improvements to the "moblesse" sample theme [2].
* Updates to the "pioneer" single canvas template.

Usage information
=================

Due to limitations in the Gtk+ toolkit integration working with the CSS
engine requires extra steps. Here is a brief rundown that should work
on most systems. This workflow requires The Widget Factory [1] to be
installed and its "twf" binary be found in the path.

(1) Install to --prefix=/usr
(2) Delete the directory /usr/share/themes/moblesse
(3) Symlink the tarball's themes/moblesse directory to ~/.themes/moblesse
(4) Edit themes/moblesse/gtk-2.0/gtkrc.css
(5) Go to themes/moblesse/gtk-2.0 and run "make preview"
(6) Repeat from (4)

Step (4) creates a gtkrc file called generated.rc which is included in
the theme's boilerplate gtkrc. This ensures gtk is initialised
correctly so that foreign applications like Firefox and OpenOffice.org
work as expected.

A template tarball for custom themes will be made available shortly.

In the cases where you currently get to see the rectangle around the tab
label, keyboard interaction is with the notebook, not a single tab, as
next-tab and previous-tab are notebook actions, not tab actions.

Looks like this is already covered in the bug report, but as a
reminder, the purpose of the keyboard focus indicator is to show
exactly where any keyboard input is going to go at that moment in
time. (And also remember that focus and selection are two different
things-- the selected tab, or any other selected object, need not be
the same as the one that currently has focus.)

So in general:

* Only one item on the desktop should have keyboard focus at any one
time, and
* Focus should only be given to items that can accept keyboard input.

So a tab in a notebook should show keyboard focus only when it's
possible to interact with the tab (e.g. switch tabs, rearrange tabs,
pop-up a tab's context menu if it has one), and not when any other
control on the tab has focus.

In the case where the visual indication is on the label now. The case
where cursor left/right keys will cycle through the tabs. I'm not sure
what is happening behind the scenes, but from an outside view the
notebook itself has the focus and the label is lying.

If one of the widgets on the page has focus, or anything outside the
notebook, the notebook/page/label can't have focus and should not
visually pretend otherwise.

When exactly should the focus indication be displayed?

Print status icons

Hi,

I would like to add new document-print status icons to gnome-icon-theme.
These are used for gtk-print-* stock icons (gtk-print-error,
gtk-print-warning, gtk-print-report and gtk-print-pause).
I filled bug #589978 and attached my icons (base icon is document-print
icon).
Could you have a look at it?

Hi Elena!
I really like the illustrations on your blog and I believe we'll need
some graphics for the new GNOME store on Zazzle [1] that we're going to
kick off soon [2] with t-shirts, mugs and stuff like that.
It would be cool to be able to do as cool stuff as Mozilla [3] (but with
GNOME on it). I guess a lot of the discussion regarding that will happen
on the marketing list [4], so you might subscribe to that one as well if
you're interested.

Other than that, I think we're going to need some help with some website
layouts and stuff further down the road. I know Paul Culter [5] asked if

Ok Will file bug in debian.

However what I checked before asking here was not gnome-themes, but
gnome-icon-theme. I hope that is still on topic on this mailing list.
I checked the release tarball (and did again just now) and 2.26.0 of
gnome-icon-theme [
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gnome-icon-theme/2.26/ ] ships
with a GPLv2 license COPYING file.

Hmm... gnome-themes changed to LGPL on 2003-08-11, according to its
ChangeLog:
