It's the link on the home page (not in the blog post) that points to the
wrong location of the release notes. I tried to fix it in Confluence but
the server is currently way too slow to do it.

The link on the front page looks good to me.
When I click on read the release notes and announcement, I'm
redirected to the right page.

There are two links, the one in the blog post is correct, the one below
the download button on the right side with the text "Release Notes:
HTML" points to the wrong location.

Oh, ok, I see it now, thanks.
This one must be part of the home page template, and I'm not sure I
can modify it.

Managed to fix it, but the cache system will take up to 30 minutes to
show up the change (without appending ?nc at the end of the URL to see
the updated page)

Congratulations to all involved.  We've got a couple client projects running on Grails now and we hope to increase that number now that we've got a full 1.0.

Hi,

I m a newbie in grails. I used 1.0-RC4 for my learning purpose. Today I
have a problem in upgrading from RC4 to 1.0 final. I get errors stating
that cannot execute method resourcedDirPath (on Clean_groovy). I tried
peeking at the bat files and groovy scripts but nothing catch my eyes.
Then I tried my luck on windows installer, then the upgrade went
smoothly (ofcourse I set the GRAILS_HOME to the new installation
directory). So you might wanna do a recheck on the tar ball grails bin
package (i always do a download on tar balls even though i m a windows
user coz tar balls are smaller). I hope this info may help you (unless
its my stupid newbie mistake)

I want to give a heartfelt congratulations and Thank You to Graeme, G2One, and the rest of all who contributed to this amazing framework.  It has been a long journey, but your efforts have been worth it, benefiting so many people in the process.  Isn't that what open source is all about?

Congrats on 1.0!
