Great film you all should see

I just finished watching a documentary called "Favela Rising" directed by Jeff Zimbalist and Matt Mochary.
The movie tracks the brief history of the favelas of Rio and the grass roots effort to combat the violence through organized cultural activities aimed at the youth (batucada, dance, capoeira etc).

This film was just the "tip of the iceberg", when it comes to showing the depth of the issues surrounding poverty in Brazil...but it had great music and I would recommend it to all of my fellow capoeirista's.
