Gridsphere installation on windows

Hi,

ive tried to install gridsphere on windows vista.
the installation of tomcat and ant went successful. i also set the environment variables.

when i try to install gridsphere though (ant deploy), i first got lots of errors saying that there are
quotation marks not being escaped in various files.
After manually editing all files and escaping them, the build ends successfully.

The only problem now is, that when i want to go to the gridsphere portal, it does not work.
In the tomcat manager, the gridsphere webapplication is listed, but not running.
Clicking on the start-button causes the following error message:

FAIL - Application at context path /gridsphere could not be started

Help is apprechiated :)

Hi,

you have two possibilities:

1) you can replace all quote in qoutes (replace all corresponding " with \")

2) you can look in Thread http://www.nabble.com/gridsphere-3.1-installation-error-td24211809.html

    how you can avoid this

i have same problem with u!!!gridsphere is listed in tomcat manager but i can't start it.Do you solved it?Show me help!!!thanks
