Hi All,

Hoping to give Hercules all the firepower available on My Box, since I run no other software on it, I`ve changed the parameters bellow to the following :
HERCPRIO  -20
CPUPRIO   -20
DEVPRIO   -20

I Use the linux version x86.
I Didn't notice any difference at all after making the changes.

Hercules is running under a SU .

Do I need to do something else ?

If you're not running any other software, ie if
you're only running Hercules, then ...

... you shouldn't expect to see any difference at
all, because the OS will always execute Hercules.
There's no-one else to give the CPU to, no matter
how low or high priority you set Hercules to.

Disclaimer: I don't actually know anything about
those parameters. I'm justing talking from a
logical point of view based on what you said.

Set the number of CPUs greater than 1 in your
hercules.cfg perhaps?  That has a chance of
making a difference if not already set.
