HOW to modify M5484Lite BOARDHi,
I don't know whether this question is relevant to this list, if any of you can provide me some pointers it will be helpful. We are designing a custom board based on MCF5485 SOC. And the final hardware will be sitting on a base card, ie, it will be a PCI slave device(5485). I want to test this scenario on a M5484Lite BOARD. As you know it has a PCI connector(host mode) through we can connect other PCI devices. I want the reverse of this. ie. I want to connect my LITEKITE to a linux pc through PCI connectors on the Linux PC mother board. I am thinking that we can pull out all the pci signals from LITEKIT and make a PCI connector and connect to Linux PC. Is this possible? Regards, Arun C --- coldfire@... Trying to bring up a MCF54450VM240Hi all
Trying to bring up a MCF54450VM240 design currently I am using U-boot-1.2.0. Does anyone have a smaller piece of code that might be easier my design is using a 16 bit data buss with a PC28F256P33B85 I am using the same DDR ram as is used on the reference design MT47H64M8CF-3:F but only two chips instead of 4. Usually when breathing life into one of these I like to use a smaller code base but unfortunately the only thing offered by Freescale is U-Boot under Linux Thanks Gregg Granville --- coldfire@... Re: Trying to bring up a MCF54450VM240Hi Gregg,
There is a version of dBug that should work. I used it when I was debugging the original 54455 design. You might check the freescale dbug downloads (I'm not sure where it is). If you can't find it let me know and I'll ask around (though it is thanksgiving week). --Kurt Granville Gregg wrote: > Hi all > Trying to bring up a MCF54450VM240 design currently I am using U-boot-1.2.0. RE: Trying to bring up a MCF54450VM240Hi Kurt
No luck finding it, I did a search on downloads and it is not under the page for the 54455. It would be a great help to me if you can find it Happy Turkey day Gregg -----Original Message----- From: coldfire-bounce@...
