Hello,

I have been looking for some instructions on getting the IR Blaster for the 4th edition of the Hauppage PVR USB2 working w/ LIRC. The myth howto seems to indicate that it was not working as of the writing of that document. Is that still the case?

Thanks,

Glenn Brown

just wondered if anyone had an answer to this. Are we still at the point where the IR Blaster isn't supported in the PVR USB2?

Don't think anyone really knows. If I had to guess, I'd wager the
lirc_zilog driver, which is something of a fork of the lirc_pvr150
driver, would *probably* work with that thing, assuming the pvrusb
driver exposes the right bits... It works with the HD-PVR anyway (more
or less) for both send and receive, and I'd assume the parts in that
are similar if not identical.
