Weather:
An oppressive haze early AM; by ~10:00, it had become the thickest layer of
filthy, brown haze I've seen.  (I learned later that NWS issued an AQI
advisory for the day.)  Light, variable but predominantly W/SW winds.
Initially almost cloudless skies; altocumulus and persisting mid alt
contrails by late AM w/cirriform joining the fray by mid afternoon.  Temp
64-68 F.

Raptor Observations:
2 SS stop-overs (from yesterday?) 9:29; 3 BV 12:50

Not surprisingly, the birds probably don't want to fly in this crap!  (See
Weather Summary.)

Non-raptor Observations:
1 Golden-crowned Kinglet, 1 Dark-eyed Junco, 6 Cedar Waxwing.
