Visitors:
One visiting biologist from Hungary, knowledgable about raptors, was
witness to some of the passing vultures but I couldn't scare up a golden
eagle or a flight of red-tails while he was present.


Weather:
Very light variable wind until it switched into the southsouthwest while
the sky completely clouded in as the fringe of tropical storm Ida advancing
from the gulf spread further north.

Raptor Observations:
The one red-tail and few vultures migrating today passed in about twenty
minutes of the 11 o'clock hour.
