HTTP headersAfter working on a 302 redirection problem that I’m
having with Nexus, I finally decided that URL redirection from within Nexus is
impossible to do. This is because of the nature of I would like to set some time aside at Monday night’s “Boston
Java Meetup” to talk to someone on the Nexus development team who has an understanding
of how Nexus/Plexus handles inbound HTTP request and how the request header is
managed. I am also trying to get the technical lead of the Shibboleth
team to attend Monday night’s meeting. As emphasis, Shibboleth SSO is a must do. We are
planning to offer Nexus as an Enterprise Wide Maven Repository open to all Java
developers/development team across M.I.T.. Without Shibboleth SSO, this
may not be possible to do. Please let me know if it would be possible to meet with
someone tomorrow night. Thanks, David David Tanner Massachusetts Institute of Technology Information Services and Technology W92-144 617-253-0110 |

RE: HTTP headersSure we can discuss it. Tamas is in Hungary so he won’t be there
;-) But Toby, Damian and I will be. We do some redirections in Nexus when the
baseurl changes so there may be something we can point you at, unless this is a
different problem. From: dtanner

is because of the nature of Ajax and the manner in which Shibboleth SSO has
been implemented. The only way that I can get Shibboleth SSO integrated
with Nexus is to do the Shibboleth authentication BEFORE entering Nexus and
passing the required SSO information into Nexus via the HTTP request header. I
