Hand Grips

can someone point me in the right direction on buying new hand grips. i have no idea on which ones to get so that the throttle will still work. ive seen alot of handgrips but none with the slots for the 2 throttle cables.

Hand grips usually come in pairs. They will say for 7/8" handle bars which is what you should have but measure the diameter of the handle bar just to be sure.  The pair will have to different inside diameter
grips one for the brake side and one for the throttle.  To remove the old ones just slit them with a razor blade but be careful of the throttle side as there is plastic under the grip.  The plastic tube is what is connected to your throttle cable. You can just slide the new ones on.  They cost anywhere from $8 to $24 for a set.  I usually spend about $9 for a set. I hope this helps.
