Currently using the version in the repository.

Is there an updated version of Ekiga for the Hardy 8.04 version of Ubuntu?

If so how to install?

No.

You'll need to compile it:
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Download_Ekiga_sources
(which is not easy if you're used to compilation...)
