Short Description:
Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component & assembly testing of Internet applications using a variety of Web server technologies including HTML, COLDFUSION, and others.
Complete Description:
The engagement may lead to an offer of employment.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Develop Internet applications using a variety of Web server technologies including HTML, COLDFUSION, and others.
* Possess a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of application development.
* Maintain technical knowledge.
* Perform work independently with little supervision.
* Provide problem resolution from a technical perspective.
* Provide weekly time reports and participate in staff meetings.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Ability to work as a member of a team and independently.
* Ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality.
* Ability to perform work which requires a great deal of attention to detail.
* Proficient with OO concepts and how they apply to application development.
* Proficient in COLDFUSION development.
* Proficient in interpreting UML for application development.
* Knowledge of interpreting and implementing design patterns.
* Knowledge of MVC frameworks (MACH II, MODEL GLUE).
* Knowledge of DB2 and SQL concepts.
* Knowledge of XML/XSLT/FOP.
* Knowledge of Web Security as it applies to application development.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Applicants for this position should have a strong knowledge of COLDFUSION, object-oriented design concepts, and SQL. Applicants MUST have two years of COLDFUSION programming experience and should have working knowledge in one of the COLDFUSION MVC frameworks. Applicants should be familiar with UML and how it applies to object-oriented designs.
