Yes. I was once in the process of a paranormal investigation in a pub in Devon. There was a coil of cable hanging over the edge of a table which had a jack-plug on the end of it. When I turned to look at the cable the end of it was stood upright in mid-air. It was as though something was looking at it. It stayed there for a couple of seconds and then dropped back down and coiled back under the table. Of course, as always, the camera wasnt running and I was alone at the time.

Well at my old house we always used to hear some really odd sounds and like once mi mum wus lent over the sink fashing her face and she felt some one tappoing her shoukder she actually thought it was my dad at first soo she kept shouting andrew stop it as she turned around no one was there she gave a loud sreak as my room was onli next door i could hear i so i ran in i went what happened nd sh told me i walked back into my room and then felt some one tugg my skirt after tht i kept seeing shadows luckily we have moved :)

i experienced feeling of sickness and sadness at Edinburgh Castle and felt and seen a vivid male in the prison near the door where you leave after the hammocks he had black hair dirty short rugged dark trousers and dirty white top was looking for a second and then ran past the door myself and son hurried out to see if anyone looked like that in the grounds was noone with that description there my son also seen a lady with dark curly long hair with a white dress in the grounds outside the prison she ran past when we where sitting on the benches out of interest do you know who these people are are we able to be told i am interested in this sort of thing.

my name is alana im 11 years old,im never far from sprits here are a few of my experiences.
well ever since i can remember iv always felt like i was being watch and on christmas eveit all took off.i walked into my mum and her fionce's room and in front of me was a big black figure it look like a animated villan,tall,stocking and a big pointy hat.it felt like he was looking down at me with digust and dissapointment.
i ran to get my sister but she was to scared to look,in the it had gone.
the next event was on boxing day when me and my sister saw something.and us both being scaredy cats with jumped onto my bed(the top bunk)and we sat there wimpering like babies then my sister said right im getting down and when she did something grabbed her leg.we both started crying then my new lamp(which was firmly attatched to the wall)was pulled off.i thought we should try to talk to the spirit i ask it if it would please let my sister down it said no.
i asked i it was responsible for pulling my light off the wall it replied yes.finally my other sister came in and let us down.i still to this day hear noises and see shadows but im kinda used to it about 45 mins ago i felt some thing push against my foot, 20 mins ago i heard a loud sigh and at this moment i can feel cold spots near me.
the spirits do startle me but iv learned to live with it.

All my life ive been so interested in the paranormal. i've had some interaction with spirits but never seen one ive hered things and ive had a door shut and lock me inside my bathroom. i get feelings just like a lot of other people when there is a presence. i would love to visit chillingham castle, like families on tv have..i want to have a crazy out of this world experience that ill never forget, how could i do that??

me and my friends decided to camp on the beach for fun and we where up late not meening to stay up but we where just messing around the beach then around midnight we saw a figure of a dog on a sand dune so decided to see if it was a dog or some old rubbish well out could say rubbish when the phantom dogs name is old trash not knowing at this time we ventured towards it i looked away for a split second and it was gone my friends also noticed it was gone and we freaked out and ran back to the tent.

I need help to explain what may be happening.we have loads of orbs,whispering and now my eldest kid say she is hearing footsteps follwing her,she is 22.iv asked a few mediums and they have come up with one thing can you help please? thanks

Me and my wife stayed at a guest house in Blackpool. after checking into the room I was standing in front of the dressing table mirror and I saw an oldish woman standing behind me, I turned around and no one was there. later in the night I saw some orbs. we went to bed and in the middle of the night I was awoken with the feeling of someone lying on top of me. I screamed and ran for the light switch, the light would not turn on so I ran out onto the landing, by that time several other guests had come out to see what was going on. the landlord asked me if I wanted another room, I said no I will be ok. the following morning I was walking down the staircase and I felt a very cold spot and then I felt someone tap me on the shoulder and turned around but no one was there. we checked out and the landlord told us the room was haunted.

I have had various paranormal experiences, but one of those that I still remember was whilst living in a farm cottage in Chilton Cantelo, Somerset. This was back in the 70's when I was 7.
On the farm is the skull of Theophilus Broome, a soldier in the British civil war. You can see the history on Google (look up Higher Chilton Farm).
Whilst on the farm, we always had a weird feeling and strange events taking place all the time. Once, when I held the skull, I had an immense feeling of loss.

Hi there, this has been on my mind for years and need some sort of understanding. When i was 15(now 27) i was rehearsing for a play at Whitby Hall, Ellesmere Port. A few of us went upstairs into the attic of this grand old house, the attic had two entrances which would meet up in the middle as one room via an arch. We went back downstairs and later on decided to see it again. We switched all lights on again and the stair well was freezing. I said to a friend for her to go through one door and i would go through the other and meet up in the middle. As i opened the door, a painting was knocked onto the floor off a table and a figure passed through. I have never forgot this and am eager to see if anyone else has had an experience there, or any history about the place. Thanks for your time

Mothman
it was 1967 and i was 10 then i saw this thing in new york while i was on holiday in america i had heard of things like the mothman and everything and i new it wos him as soon as i saw him! he flew past our car and then landed on the road it was about 3-4am because we were at my aunties villa and there was no people driving on this road and then looked at us my father slammed on the brakes and i started crying it was so scary he bright big greenish-brownish eyes and big ears and had wing s he was so scarey it is now 2009 and i will never forget that day!

Woodside Middle School
At Woodside Middle School,in Putnoe there is a ghost of a young girl in the girls changing rooms. My friend said that the ghost had attacked her and her friend. She had scratches all up her arm and bruises. Usually when I go in there, I hear strange noises(like crying and screaming)and sometimes old shoes are being thrown around the room.
We have tryied telling the teachers but they wont believe us.

hi my name is emma and since this day i am still freaked out by it on the 1st of july we moved in to this house down ramsgate by the town one day i was walking down the stairs when i was 7 years of age i as i was walking down the stairs i stopped on the fourth step when i felt somthing grab me on the sides i freezed for a minute and then when i regained normal again i found my self on the second step can you tell me what it might of been please.

hi my names marissa and i have got a story about somethink that scared the living day lights out of me, i had just got changed after my bath ,when i saw my grandad just looking at me he didnt say anythink to me he just looked.i looked behind me and he was gone since that day i havent seen him
again. but i have had many other exeperinces i belive theres something out there behond us .i have never belived in afterlife communcation but now i do!!!!

Michelham Priory
When visiting my Aunt in Sussex in 2001 we went on a tour through Michelham Priory.When I was in the monks chamber I felt ill and uneasy.I stood there for a moment in a daze then left quickly.I never thought anything about it till I spoke about it with a friend and offered to look up some information on it.Your article is interesting.Who knows?

Dark Floating Shadows
on going to bed last night i was aware of what seemed dark floating shadows runnjng up & down the ceiling at the same time I also had very distint vivid image of a misty object with light moving within it I watched this for what seemed 10 or so minutes until I eventually fell asleep. At one stage I closed my eyes tightly & then reopened them but the image was very vivid in front of my face. What could this be?

in a school i used to go to there is a new building and an old building in the old building there are the girls toilets and in the end toilet there are rumors that a little girl died there and there is a curse in the toilet!

Borley Rectory
I visited the site of the rectory just before the new homes where built on the site.I took a friend from Norfolk who wanted to visit the site.We traced the footings of the rectory in the long grass and were suddenly aware of a very powerful smell of Lavender.this persisted for about 5 minutes then vanished suddenly.On returning home to Ipswich I was sat telling my wife about this when my lounge was filled with the most disgusting ,graveyard smell that made both of us feel sick.This also suddenly disappeared .Fortunately there were no further occurences so I presume that what ever followed me home didn`t stay long....thank God!
