Help me with the Q3 Report

Hi All:

It's time for the GNOME Q3 quarterly report.  We had a really good
presence in the Q2 report, with mentions of:

* HFOSS wrapup
* WebKit a11y
* Java ATK Wrapper
* Mono a11y
* Speech dispatcher
* Magnification/GNOME Shell
* Ca11y
* Mago

The Q3 report will cover July, August, September, and I'd like to give
some follow up on the above as well as any new activities that happened
during Q3.  GNOME Boston will count for Q4, by the way, so we need to
save all the good stuff that happened in it for the Q4 report.

For those of you with notable stuff from Jul/Aug/Sep, please send me
your information.

Many thanks!

Will

PS - Here's the Q2 report (I'm trying to dig up a more accessible
format) http://foundation.gnome.org/reports/gnome-report-2009-Q2.pdf

Are you going to mention the breakage of gnome-terminal in 2.28, or is this
just for good news?

Hi.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/435646

Although a fix was applied, the crash still happens on Debian Sid.  Before the fix, the crash would
just take out all gnome-terminals, now, it seems to take out Orca as well.  Since the crash is random, I haven't
found a consistant way to reproduce it.  I am aware of at least 1 other Debian Sid user
experiencing the problem, so I don't think it is specific to my system.

For now, I'm a full time text console user again.  Most of my gnome session was terminal windows.

Hi.  I cannot duplicate this on gnome 2.28.0 on my gentoo system.  I
went into gnome-t4erminal and got the prompt and typed a couple of cr's,
but didn't try any apps.

Hi.  It usually takes more than pressing a few returns to cause the crash.
It isn't predictable, but it will eventually happen.
That's what makes this so hard, I don't have a consistant way to cause the problem, so don't have a good bug report.

Hi Willie,

The initial development of Java ATK Wrapper has been finished in Q3.
Tim Miao has done lots of testing jobs, and after many bug fixing, JAW
has been integrated into
Solaris Nevada 124 finally.

Thanks,

Ke

July:

  * Cally was moved to o-hand repository, with clutter and other
    clutter-related project. Previous that, it was on a temporal
    public Igalia repository [1]

  * After Clutter 1.0 release, Cally was updated his dependencies and
    number version, in order to be sure to compile against the master
    (for some hours cally compilation failed with the clutter
    master). [2]

August:

  * First attempt of use Cally with Mutter/Gnome-shell. It allow some
    minimal interaction using a dogtail script, but not a real
    accessible interaction. Just a proof of concept [3]

And some commits.

Not really a lot of work, just my two cents.
