Help with DemoEdit Configuration

Dear,

I´m trying to able DemoEdit in my computer, but it´s very dificult. All steps about install and create spatial table was do. My Postgres version is 8.3 and Postgis version is 1.4.0 . Using QGIS I can see these data and possible to edit too. It´s very important able Demoedit, because a big project around here will be started using cartoweb and I will need consulting and suport. So, I´m waiting a help. In time, english is not my first language. I´m from Brazil and we speak portuguese. Sorry for some wrong worlds.

Hi Jefe,
I've never try yet cartoweb with postgis 1.4.
So if you can try to downgrade to a postgis 1.3.5 version and see if you have the same error.

I think cw3.5 need some adjustement to work with 1.4 as some function have change.
I also believe you need a quiet recent Mapserver (5.2 5.4) to work with new postgis.

Did the other demo working ?

Hi Jefe,

I had issues trying to use Mapserver 5.4 and PostGIS 1.3 (a couple of
new map file enforcements for 5.4), so I would avoid 5.4 starting out.
Mapserver 5.2. and as Bruno mentions, PostGIS 1.3 are working for us.

I´m trying to able DemoEdit in my computer, but it´s very dificult. All steps about install and create spatial table was do. My Postgres version is 8.3 and Postgis version is 1.4.0 . Using QGIS I can see these data and possible to edit too. It´s very important able Demoedit, because a big project around here will be started using cartoweb and I will need consulting and suport.
