HeroStats "Not Scanning" since May 05 patchIt looks like something has changed in the game client with the May 05
patch, and HeroStats can no longer scan the client for updates. This happens occasionally, and is usually pretty easy to fix. Usually I try to catch these things on the Test server, but I haven't had time to do that recently. I'll try to get to this tonight, and will send out an update when I know more. -- Skip Franklin sfranklin1717@... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances! Re: HeroStats "Not Scanning" since May 05 patchOK folks, I think I've cleaned up all the issues with the scanner
after this patch. I've released a new unstable build (4.7.0.3) that you can download at http://unstable.herostats.org or the direct link below. I'd greatly appreciate it if some of you could try it out and let me know if it's working for you. http://downloads.sourceforge.net/herostats/HeroStatsUnstable-4.7.0.3.exe Once I get verification that this works for people other than just me, I'll be pulling together a new stable build. Might be a day or two, so please use the unstable build until then. The new stable build will be announced on http://herostats.org as usual. Re: HeroStats "Not Scanning" since May 05 patchThis is exactly why it's a good idea to do a unstable build first. I
screwed up this installer package, which is why many of you have seen no difference after you download the new version - it was still the old 4.6.0.0 code. I just fixed this on SourceForge. It may take a while for all the mirrors to update, but the correct version of the installer is now uploaded. Please try it again. Re: HeroStats "Not Scanning" since May 05 patchApparently SourceForge doesn't like it when you switch out files with
the exact same name. The new installer was working fine for people last night, but then this morning it reverted back to the old version. So I've given up on 4.7.0.3 entirely and released 4.7.0.4. There is zero difference between the two versions in terms of code - only the version number and the installer changed. Sorry about all the confusion, everyone.
