<br>For a non-auditing card the RP's public key is not sent to the STS and there is no audience restriction.
<br>The selector encrypts the token for the RP using the RP's public key.
<br><br>In the case where the user has selected an auditing card. The RP's certificate is sent to the IP/STS.

Sergey L is working with new IdAS API, but it's still in progress, so you can't build CardSync from trunk. I recommend you use B-1-1M7. Please, open attached CardsyncAndRpps.psf in Eclipse (File->Import->Team->Team Project Set).
<br><br>Then, please click right button on org.eclipse.higgins.sync -> Run As -> Maven build ... (I assume, you installed m2 plugin), set goals "clean antrun:run install" (antrun:run - invoke higgins2ant build scripts for building rpps dependencies), select "Skip tests" checkbox , and run build. The cardsync-new.war will be in org.eclipse.higgins.sync.ws/target/ folder.
<br><br>Then, you have to update org.eclipse.higgins.util.openssl.impl project settings (path to openssl lib and headers files ) according to your environment and build it from eclipse (or you may fix paths in make file).
<br><br>liborg.eclipse.higgins.util.openssl.impl.so is platform dependent library, so it make sens to build it on server.
<br><br>You also may/should change CardSync and RPPS configuration. I attached default (It use test DB server rh152 and user home dir /usr/share/higgins/) .
<br> * Update CardSync settings in context.xml;
<br> * Update ICard providers settings in .higgins/.icard/*;
<br> * Update absolute path in .higgins/**/*.* ;

I don't know if there is any slight usage difference between ClientConfiguration.xml and ManagedConfiguration.xml that I miss, but from a first analysis of both files I see them almost the same file.<br><br>ClientConfiguration has a different SettingHandler definition but the whole STS configuration is the same.<br>
<br>I would recommend you, if you don't have any strong reason to do it, to change the configuration file used and use ManagedConfiguration.xml. That file does not have any problem with missing libraries (I couldn't manage to find the one you said either) and works fine (since I've been playing with it since 1.1 M1).<br>
<br>You will need Dependencies Distributable aswell but that is something that you can find on SVN and something that I do think you have already downloaded.<br><br>Try to configure STS with this file and ask if you get blocked with any problem :)<br>

<br>This problem doesn't happen with M6 build which by the way has a much smaller context.xml<br><br>At this point we only need the ICard Service so that we can store the cards in our infrastructure. I will continue to work with M6 build for now unless you (or other experts at Higgins) think otherwise. <br>

<br><br>org.eclipse.higgins.idas.cp.hb is hibernate based IdAS context provider. it was not committed in Eclipse svn due to it has dependencies (hibernate) which were not approved by Eclipse. I'm going to commit it (and few other projects) to azigo public svn, but it make takes couple days.
<br><br>However, I was sure that higgins Rpps build has to use jena context provider. What version (1-1M7, 1-1M6M7 or trunk ) of Rpps did you deploy? I'll deploy it and check example of configuration.

IE8. I don’t look deeper but it seems that Identity Selector Switch is
not able to call any selector through IE8 (tested with Card Space and GTK

But must align them with the underlying entities & attributes as described here [1]. I’ve updated [1] recently thus creating some mismatches. Please review [1] and let me know if anything is unclear as to what the semantics are supposed to be. <BR>

The main Jim's argument to rid IModel interfaces was to reuse alredy existent IEntity and IAttribute inerfaces. Actually, I already gave arguments a year ago, why the current model interfaces are more convenient:<BR>

1. The current model interfaces allow to represent many things obviously. Suppose, we need to expose the model of a simple value. If we used Jim's model, we'd represent simple value model via IEntity intrerface (which is confusing by itself). Than, to represent params of this simple value (there are many things in OWL1.1 like length, minLength, maxLength, pattern, etc.), this IEntity should contain an attribute for each of those params. In turn, the attribute should contain some ISimpleAttrValue with data of its parameter. From the other hand, the current IModel interface can reflect OWL in a more convenient way. If we need params of some simple value, we get an instance of ISimpleValueModel (either from IAttributeModel or from ISimpleAttrValue), and invoke its methods getLength(), getMinLength(), getMaxLength() etc.<BR>

2. IdAS interfaces (IEntity, IAttribute) have a lot of methods behind of getType() and getData() which are not used in Jim's model. I suppose these methods will confuse people which need to use a model.<BR>

3. Jim's model is flexible and could represent anything, but we do not need this, because we limited by OWL and need to describe things which OWL provides. IModel, in turn, could be disigned to reflect OWL constructs handy.<BR>
