The Horde Team is pleased to announce the final release of the Ansel Photo
Management and Web Gallery application version H3 (1.1).

Ansel is a full featured photo management application. With it, you
can organize
your photos in any number of galleries and subgalleries, share galleries among
other Horde users or even make them public. Ansel supports a wide range of

Forwarding Manager version H3 (3.2).

Forwards is a Horde module for setting user email forwards via the .forward
mechanism supported by several popular mailers.

Forwards provides fairly complete support for setting .forward style
forwards on
Sendmail, Courier, or Qmail mail based systems via an FTP transport.
It now also
has drivers for Mdaemon, Exim SQL, Exim LDAP, Qmail LDAP, SunONE LDAP, Plesk,
Custom SQL, and SOAP based systems.

Auto-Responding Manager version H3 (3.2).

Vacation is a Horde module for managing user e-mail "vacation notices" or
"auto-responders." It works via a local vacation program and the .forward
style forwarding mechanism supported by several popular mailers.

Webmail Edition version 1.2.4.

This is a major security release that fixes a vulnerability in the form
library that allows overwriting of arbitrary local files with the permissions
of the web server user. It also fixes two XSS vulnerabilities in the
preference system and the MIME viewer library. The local file vulnerability
can only be exploited by users who have write permissions to the address
book. All users are encouraged to upgrade to this release.

Thanks to Stefan Esser from SektionEins for finding the local file issue in a
code audit, and Martin Geisler and David Wharton for finding the XSS issues.

Horde Groupware Webmail Edition is a free, enterprise ready, browser based
communication suite. Users can read, send and organize email messages with
three different webmail interfaces and manage and share calendars, contacts,
tasks and notes with the standards compliant components from the Horde
Project.

The major changes compared to the Horde Groupware Webmail Edition
version 1.2.3

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the final release of the Mobile Internet
Messaging Program (MIMP) version H3 (1.1.2).

MIMP (or Mobile IMP) is a version of the webmail client IMP suitable for
mobile devices such as WAP phones or PDAs. Basic IMP functionality is
implemented including mailbox viewing and paging, viewing messages, deleting,
replying, forwarding, and composing new messages.

MIMP requires at least Horde version 3.2 and IMP version H3 (4.2) to run.
Although not required to upgrade either Horde or IMP, it is STRONGLY
RECOMMENDED you do as any bugfixes to core functionality will occur in
these applications.

Major changes compared to the MIMP H3 (1.1.1) version are:
* Ignore 'compose_html' preference in IMP (requires IMP 4.3.5).

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the final release of the Dynamic
Internet Messaging Program (DIMP) version H3 (1.1.3).

DIMP (Dynamic Internet Messaging Program, or Dynamic IMP) is a PHP-based
webmail system and a component of the Horde project. DIMP is a version of the
webmail client IMP utilizing AJAX-like technologies to allow a more dynamic
user experience than traditionally offered via IMP.

DIMP requires at least Horde version 3.2 and IMP version H3 (4.2) to run.
Although not required to upgrade either Horde or IMP, it is STRONGLY
RECOMMENDED you do as any bugfixes to core functionality will occur in
these applications.

DIMP version H3 (1.1.3) is a minor upgrade in the 1.x release series,

Messaging Program (IMP) version H3 (4.3.5).

IMP, the Internet Messaging Program, is one of the most popular webmail
applications available. It allows universal, web-based access to IMAP and
POP3 mail servers and provides a full range of features normally found only in
desktop email clients.

The major changes compared to IMP version H3 (4.3.4) are:
* Highlight signed messages depending on the signature verification.
* Added hook examples for address book preferences.
* Fixed some javascript if using IE 8.
* Use correct charset when rendering inline PGP data.

like Turba H3 (2.3) or Ansel, and only by users who have write permissions to
those applications. All users are encouraged to upgrade to this release.

because of some problems announcing the release to freshmeat (which
had been worked around in HEAD but not FW3 for the release scripts).

DIMP (Dynamic Internet Messaging Program, or Dynamic IMP) is a PHP-based
webmail system and a component of the Horde project. DIMP is a version of the
webmail client IMP utilizing AJAX-like technologies to allow a more dynamic
user experience than traditionally offered via IMP.

DIMP requires at least Horde version 3.2 and IMP version H3 (4.2) to run.

The Horde Team is pleased to announce the final release of the Klutz Comic
viewing application version H3 (1.0).

Klutz is a Horde application for viewing comics. Users can pick which comics
they want to read and browse them by comic or by day.

The Klutz H3 (1.0) distribution is available from the following locations:
