Ah, I guess I was thinking of something like postgis where it wasn't
included in a stock MySQL install. If it should work for standard
installs, then put it in the main scripts, definitely.

Why not? I think people would like to get most out of their database
if possible. Is there any reason *not* to opt for spatial if using
mysql?

Ah, probably not. But there should still be a script in the
scripts/sql directory for creating those tables.

Is it safe to assume that the *.mysql script can contain spatial
extension specific tables? In other words, if someone has mysql -
should we assume they want to use the spatial extensions?

Hi,

Your solution was OK, it works even for existing users, and another solution
is to change line 15 of /config/nls.php ($nls['defaults']['language'] = '';)

My problem is with another software (POA) which I guess is controlling
Horde.

Well, sure, but we always have the SQL scripts create the current
version of the database. So kronolith.sql and friends should be
updated to contain the geo tables - you shouldn't have to run upgrade
scripts on a clean install.

Reminders are no longer run from Kronolith directly. There is an
alarms.php script in horde/scripts now.

Please check the horde and server error log, and look at the actual
JSON response returned from the various ajax calls such as ListEvent
in firebug.

Just a guess, but did you setup the tagger library?

calendar not showing

hi all,

I've configure kronolith GIT with the default values.
SQL scripts 2009-12-11_fix_column_names.sql and 2009-12-03_add_geo.sql
are not included in sql/kronolith.sql.

We don't use reminder emails, but according to kronolith/docs/INSTALL,
there should be a file kronolith/scripts/reminders.php (which doesn't
exist or may be not created yet).

After logging in, I click on Calendar, see attach screen shot.
I don't see the calendar layout. None of the links (Option, Day, +,
Agenda...) work.
When I look at the source code of the web page, I can see that all the
HTML code seams to be there, eg :

I've added the following lines to horde/config/registry.php and this
solve Content_Tagger issue :
$this->applications['content'] = array(
'fileroot' => dirname(__FILE__) . '/../content',
'webroot' => $this->applications['horde']['webroot'] . '/content',
'status' => 'hidden'
);

All other Horde apps are defined in registry.php.
Can someone add 'content' to registry.php (or registry.d) as it is
going to be needed at some point anyway?

Hum, maybe because the correct value is not 'fa_IR'. You need to check
what does horde include on the prefs database when someone chooses the
desired language, and then hardcode the exact same value in the prefs.php.

We have been looking at SabreDAV for gaining a better understanding of what's going on regarding CalDAV.
Have you some CalDAV design elements to share with us ? Or even some tasks list for coding CalDAV support ?

Hi Patrick,

Integrating CalDAV is my responsibility. Currently I'm spending a lot
of time on working on RFC 3744 support (ACL), only after that I can
fully focus on CalDAV.
It's been difficult for me to carve out enough time to work on this,
so I'm not able to provide you a timeline. It's done when it's done,
basically.

I can tell you that this is going to be built upon Horde 4, so
availability will also tie in directly with that.

When I set the vacation message using Horde Vacation and test by
sending an email to my own email address, I receive the following

I researched this error and found this could be a permission issue. I
double checked that all files (.vacation.msg .forward and
.vacation.db) had the correct permissions.
that are created by the "vacation -i" command on the email server and
by the Horde Vacation. I noticed the versions are different. I
believe this is causing my issue see below:

Created by "vacation -i" command on email server:
.vacation.db: Berkeley DB 1.85 (Hash, version 2, native byte-order)

Created by Horde Vacation:
.vacation.db: Berkeley DB (Hash, version 5, native byte-order)

I have compiled Berkeley DB with 1.85 support but I am still receiving
this same error message.

Can anyone assist me in adding Berkeley DB 1.85 support to Horde
Vacation? Also, is there a way to pass the host information into
Horde Vacation from LDAP?

No, it's not.

I don't know which calendar server you use, but maybe you can
configure it to accept Basic Authentication. If not, you have to
implement Digest Authentication in Kronolith.

Hi guys

I've got a webdav server which requires username and passwords. On this
server there are ics files for my calendar. So I read that kronolith
supports ics and I want to give it a try. I configure everything but
kronolith did not show me the calendar. So I took a look at my log files
and find the error.

[Sun Dec 13 21:14:02 2009] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] Digest:
client used wrong authentication scheme `Basic': /calendar/sqall.ics

My authentication files uses md5 digests and no basic scheme. Is md5
authentication yet supported? If it is, how can I use it? If it is not,
has anyone any ideas how I can connect via kronolith to my calendars?

The place of content is fine. You need to add it to registry.php.

No, this is only necessary to workaround certain inline-block bugs in
IE. But those bug don't trigger in that case.

I wanted to try the new kronolith, but I get the following error :
The Content_Tagger class could not be found. Make sure the registry
entry for the Content system is present.

Sure: drivers like ipbasic and shibboleth can't do "normal"
authentication (e.g. there is nothing a user has to/can enter on a
login page). They can only do transparent authentication.

Why? You can do any request with the Ajax.Request object, not just XHR
requests.

No, because the actual driver name is still Resources. This was just
necessary for mapping the type names used in the interface to the
drivers used in the backend.

I don't think so. You can get a Horde_Url object from a function
return, so you don't have access to setting $raw via the constructor.
But you also may not yet want to cast to a string. For example:

$a = Horde::applicationUrl('foo.php')->setRaw(true)->add('bar', 1);

This is handy because it creates the necessary URL data, but it leaves
open the possibility that further processing can be done on $a. I
really don't think we need to be calling toString() functions
explicitly either.

Any reason why setRaw() isn't desired?

Ah, sorry, I didn't even know that such a function exists. I thought
you were referring to some method of Horde_Http_Client. To my excuse,

I left them in those places where we explicitly require a certain
timezone for the test. The global setting is just to avoid the
E_STRICT messages. In Horde context we always set a timezone too, in
Horde_Nls.
