How can I....How can I do the following in an automated way?
Open a 3DS or OBJ file and write a K-3D mesh to a file for each object in the 3DS or OBJ file, then read each new K-3D mesh into a new K-3D scene so that their scales and positions etc. where the same relative to each other as they were in the original file? I want to be able to edit each of the saves K-3D meshes and add/edit materials etc. and see the final scene update with my changes. If I can do this I can share my files on a network and have a team of people doing edits and updates to the geometry and material details while somebody else is working with lighting, animation, composition etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us! You might try prototyping something in Python.
