How do I create this effect?Hi guys.
I've been staring at this image for ages, trying to figure out how to do this. Basically, its a splotchy streak of pain. But, where the paint is present, a pattern can also be seen. http://www.helikopterdesign.com/wp-content/themes/default/images/backgroundtop.png The image is a background png from the beautifully designed page at http://www.helikopterdesign.com. I'd like to know how how to make the pattern visible only where the brush-created pixels are. Any advice on this is appreciated. Thanks. -- bob (via www.gimpusers.com) _______________________________________________ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@... https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user |

Select->Save to Channel. Then to reload, right-click the saved channel and do 'channel to selection'.
