After i install gnats on freebsd using ports, how do i know that gnats  
is running?

If you have set it up correctly in the /etc/inetd.conf or /etc/xinetd/*
folder as an inetd service, you should be able to telnet to the support
port 1529.

Now that I have enable gnatsd on my server, who should i send it to?  
Is it to gnats@host ???

send-pr -t gnats@bambino <--- will this work? please help.

another question is, why is the default recipient is To: FreeBSD-gnats-submit@...
  ??? where is this defined?
