How do I match up Speed application Options to engine functions

Trying to the test available engine functions, on our hardware to make sure they work, and also compare rates to software.  The following are the hardware functions that I have available:

openssl engine -c
(dynamic) Dynamic engine loading support
(ibmca) Ibmca hardware engine support
 [RSA, DSA, DH, RAND, DES-ECB, DES-CBC, DES-EDE3, DES-EDE3-CBC, AES-128-ECB, AES
-128-CBC, AES-192-ECB, AES-192-CBC, AES-256-ECB, AES-256-CBC, SHA1, SHA256]

My question is how do I match up the OPENSSL SPEED application options to the hardware support?  Is this even possible?

I.E.  openssl speed -engine ibmca sha1

Does the above example exercise the sha1 support on the hardware?  Or do I have to use something else?

Thanks,

Joe T.
