How do error messages get displayed in admin forms

I want to have the sass filter extension display syntax errors if
there are any when save button is hit. It seems simple enough just. In
page_part model just use sass engine to validate it and do errors.add.
The problem is that I am new to haml and I not sure how to get the
errors from page_part to page, and i don't really see where the errors
are being displayed for the form. In normal erb I might see something
like <%= error_messages_for :model %>, <%
error_messages_for :children_of_model>. Anyone know how do do this or
can point me in the right directions. Thanks so much.
