Hello,

I have some weird infos, because I have read in the  datasheets  of  CAN
controllers different infos about how many nodes are supported.

Now, because I am beginning with CAN, I am puzzeling arround here...

1)  How many nodes does CAN support real?
2)  What is the maximum lenght of a shielded cable at 1 Mbit?

3)  Are there recommended connectors for CAN?
I have to connect at  least  16  "High-Power LiPoly Smart-Batteries"
using the SiLabs C8051F502 to a Atmel AT91SAM9263 "Master Controler"

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
