How to Install JRuby 1.1.6 in Netbeans

I have tried to install latest JRuby by extracting to the ruby2
directory but receive message that jruby.bat is not recognised as a
jruby platform.
What is the method for installing latest JRuby into a netbeans
environment.  I am using one of the latest stable builds from hudson.
(#4651) which still uses JRuby 1.1.4.
