How to capture Order Id in one test case and use it in different test case?

Hi All,

I am using Selenium IDE/RC for web application testing. When I place order, system generates Id number. And in different website [back-end], I need to perform other functions using that order Id.

How can i grab that number and search the purchase in back-end using that system generated order id automatically.
