How to debug a pidgin plugin

Hi,
I have developed a pidgin plugin, is another chat client which uses bonjour protocol, to communicate in a LAN.
When I send a message using my plugin the application gets crashed.
I need to find out where (the line of source file) the bug is?

so how can i debug a piding plugin to find the exact line of the source where the error occur?
