How to free key combination ?Dear list,
I want to use some key combination with some of my desktop applications but it seems those keys are reserved by the WM. Like Alt+plus, Alt+underscore, Alt+F1, Alt+F12, Alt+uparrow etc.. are not available. how can get back these combination from icewm ? Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ IceWM-user mailing list IceWM-user@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/icewm-user |

IIRC there's a window option to make an application takes precedence over IceWM. But I'm not sure. Bye, Jörg. -- Erfahrung heißt gar nichts. Man kann seine Sache auch 35 Jahre schlecht machen. You can find it in my latest tutorial at http://jbakshi.50webs.com/Linux_tutorial/mrxvt/mrxvt.html wish you a nice time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge This is your chance to win up to $100,000 in prizes! | Another way might be to make a backup copy of "~/.icewm/preferences". Then make changes to the key combinations that effect your application. After you are done make changes either restart icewm or exit and come back in. You might find that this works just fine for what you are trying to do. I have made changes in this file and it works for me. I hope this helps you! Greg Mickle --- On Mon, 7/13/09, J. Bakshi <bakshi12@...> wrote:
