How to indicate that not all users are returned from listUsers(), and simlar, of a UserLocator

Hi,

As I read that you're about to settle on the new Plugin API I wanted
to post this question before the API is finalized and it could be
difficult to change the API. When integration Nexus with a large
directory (an LDAP directory for instance) it's not too unlikely that
not all users will be returned in a search/list query (an LDAP
directory, for instance, does have server side limits). Today, I
haven't found a way of indicating this in the returned value from a
PlexusUserLocator (listUsers() and similar methods), so that it would
be possible for the UI to tell the user that there a more users than
the shown ones. Would this be possible to handle in the new API?

Possibly, there could also be good to allowing the user to specify the
maximum amount of returned users.

Any thoughts/comments on this?

/Anders
