Hello,
Here's what I'd like to do: show the difference in size between Greenland
and Antarctica. I've created two stereographic polar maps with the following
code:
pscoast -R-180/180/60/89 -JS0/90/4.5i -W1.5p -P > Greenland.ps
pscoast -R-180/180/-89/-60 -JS0/-90/4.5i -W2p -P > Antarctica.ps
Quite simple stuff really. Now obviously the second map only shows the
outline of Antarctica, whereas the first map gives me lots of other land
masses apart from Greenland (Scandinavia, Siberia, North America...).
Is there any way that I could fill ONLY Greenland with black, and leave just
the outlines of the other countries. Or even just have outlines for
Greenland and nothing else?
Many thanks for advice, and I'm open to suggestions as to this could be
shown differently, not sure I've chosen the most elegant method.
